There are many pages and groups on the various Social Media that cover the topics of Executive Protection, Close Protection, Security Driving, etc. Some are entertaining others are marketing sites, and very few are educational, This is not a criticism just an observation.
Social Media, in general, is a source of entertainment, not a source of knowledge, but there are websites where we provide educational content at no charge.
ISDA’s mission is to provide and support an international forum of protective services providers who share knowledge for the ultimate purpose of enhancing professional and business standards.
We act as a true association by taking an active role in supporting our members with our services. We provide educational content and share member content that spans the entire spectrum of the profession. A small portion, about 10%, of which we share throughout our network (social media, securitydriver.com, and newsletters) freely, without any expectation other than to educate and inform.
For more than 40 years, I have been hearing – “you’re the driving guys,” no, not really. The same is true of International Security Driver Association – “you’re the driving association,” no, not really. Our content covers all aspects of the executive protection profession.
Some of our subjects include:
- Executive Vehicles
- Surveillance Detection
- Executive Protection
- Event Security
- The Business of Executive Protection
- Empirical Data/Metrics
