Three Seconds to Safety

Three Seconds to Safety is a booklet that covers carjacking. Like the author, Tony Scotti, the booklet is old; it was written in the late 1980s. It includes how to avoid vehicle attacks, specifically carjacking. It was written for a company that, at that time, was producing shatterproof glass. It covers the necessary ingredients for carjacking and some things that can be done to mitigate the risk. The title comes from the distance you could put between yourself and the problem in three seconds. When it first came out, it was a big hit with corporations. It became popular with the corporate community and was used as a guide for vehicle safety. Although old, the information is still valid.
