Chairwoman of Colombia Sportswear, Gert Boyle, was held briefly at gunpoint as a man tried to burglarize her home. The investigation of the robbery of Boyle has revealed she was the target of a kidnapping plot. The robbery was part of a plot to kidnap the 86-year-old chairwoman. One of the men, Jose Luis Arevalo, 47, told investigators that he drove his van to Boyle’s house “for the purpose of kidnapping her in exchange for $20,000″.
As you read the account of the robbery, there are so many ways this could have gone bad. Yet my opinion is; that all involved seem to be taking this lightly.
